Is it possible to have multiple appearances of Acrobat DC on an iMac?

Safari and Microsoft Suite programs allow for multiple windows to be open. The reason this would be helpful is that when working on more than one project in Acrobat, it would be helpful to have one appeaerance for one project, with all of the assoicated files appearing on the tab bar, and another appearance for the other project.  Right now I cannot figure out how to organize the various PDF files to keep them separated when they are all open.  Ideas?

I think this was answered before in a MS Windows topic. Not sure if this is available in macOS

Do you get in iMac the following preference of Acrobat:

Edit--->>> Preferences--->>> General--->>>"Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch)".

If you do you may need to disable it in order to detach a tab with the document you're currently working on and open a separate instance of the same document. ( I only hava MS Windows computer at this time, so I may be wrong).
