Multiple single pdfs combined and resolution issues

I work on large publications and send the files to the printers separately but when I combined all the files for a digital pdf the size is considerably smaller and the resolution is affected.

I cannot figure out how not to have the combined files compressed.

Are you using the Combine Files tool to merge the documents? If so, after you add the files to be combined, click the Options button at the top of the screen. You'll see 3 icons that control the file size of the combined file. I'd suggest choosing Largest File Size and see if that resolves your issue.
