THe latest Acrobat download does not work.  Adobe has been notorious for bad programming and security flaws.  Hire some competent programmers and fix the problem.

Still no help.  I get messages to update Acrobat several times a day.  I cannot get it to load properly.  FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
