New Computer w/o CD Rom for Acrobat XI Pro

I recently purchased a new computer. It doesn't have a cd rom. I have my Acrobat XI pro disc and serial number. I have looked all over the website and tried downloading Acrobat Pro 2015, but when I put in the serial number it tells me that it is not a valid serial number. Any ideas? Thanks.

1 - a serial number is specific to the version

2 - buy an external drive to use your disc (*)

(*) Adobe only has downloads if you bought a download, not if you bought a disc
