Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you are unable to open the PDF file and getting the error message as shown in the screenshot.

- What is the workflow/steps you are doing to open the PDF file?

 

- Have you crated the PDF file or have you got it from a different user?

 

- Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to open a different PDF file and check.  If the PDF file is stored on a shared network/drive please download the file to your computer locally and then try to open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC and check.

 

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once. For more information about the updates please check the help page: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

 

You may also try the troubleshooting steps provided in the help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-error-1015-11001-update.html and see if that helps.

Note: Steps are same for new version.
