Does anyone know how Adobe counts the number of comments in a shared review? When I log into the shared review, the welcome screen from Tracker shows I have 12 comments. After clicking OK, the comment pane on the right says I have 10 comments. Can anyone explain the inconsistency? The shared review is being generated with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 20.006.20034.39303. It can be reviewed by participants using Acrobat Reader or Pro DC. Thank you.

Coworkers of mine are having the same issue.  We are all using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Continuous Release Version 2020.012.20043, on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro.  The shared review was hosted on a locally networked server.  My coworker shared her screen with me using Microsoft Teams, and she opened the shared review.  Upon opening the shared review I could see that the total number of comments shown in the upper right of the comment panel was different from what I had, and what was initially shown on the "Welcome back to shared review" dialoge box.  She said the number of comments varied each time she would reopen the document.  She also, noted there were duplicate comments from her that she did not manually produce.  Upon deleting these comments and closing the document these comments would reappear.

Is this a firewall issue, security settings issue, credentials issue, bug, ...?

Problem confirmed. Version 2024.001.20604

We tried to calculate what the comment count might show.
Total comment count as seen in the protocol: 72
There are three different kinds of comments. I counted them manually: 12 stamps, 39 comments and 21 replies (no more than one reply on a comment)
Two persons see 51 on top of the comment list which is  39+12 (comments + stamps)
One person sees 63 on top which is 51+12 (comments - replies but double the stamps?!)
Help.
