Hi,
Some of our users are using Acrobat XI Pro to archive projects contained in an Outlook directory to a pdf file. They're right-clicking the directory they want to archive and selecting Convert to Adobe PDF format...
Some of the emails contains .zip files that are included has attachments in the pdf file.
Problem is: we can't open the zip attachment or extract it. We have the error message : Adobe Acrobat cannot open the file attachment because your PDF file attachment settings do not allow this file type to be opened.
The checkbox "Allow Opening Of Non-PDF File Attachments With External Applications" is checked and I also tried the registry hack to add . value |.zip:1 to the tBuiltInPermList string in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\FeatureLockDown\cDefaultLaunchAttachmentPerms, but it's not working either.
I found no other solution on the forums yet.
Anyone have a clue ?
Thank you
