I am trying to save a PDF so I can view the pages as spreads instead of single pages. I found this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-create-a-pdf-with-spreads-and-save-the-view/td-p/10440... and followed these instructions: "Document Properties>Initial View>Page layout>change to Two page continues>OK and save it with different name". However, after I do this when I try to open the file, I only see the original single page layout.
