Paper format on Acrobat 9.5.5 on Linux

Acrobat 9.5.5 on Linux opens A4-Documents always as if it was letter-format. No way out. Well, you can print it on A4 paper (letter boggles the printers mind!) by choosing 'Choose paper source by PDF page size' (very speaky, indeed!) but look what happens when you print doublesided :-)))) The first page will be on A4 the rest on letter-format which the printer doesn't have. LOL! GUYS, WHERE DID YOU LEARN PROGRAMMING!
