Paste clipboard as image, not stamp.

New to Acrobat from other PDF software.

I start with blank page pdf, because I want to create some a custom page of content.

I pasted two different snips from my mac clipboard.

Then started marking them with the pen...free form drawing and circles... and then text annotations.

BUT THESE CLIPBOARD ITEMS DONT HAVE tools like an image insert does.  What?!

Thats wierd in my book.   Why would a clipboard paste go in as a stamp rather than an image?

Is there a preference so that all these things have OBJECT options like and image? flip, crop, rotate, etc.

Maybe a better method or software for free form layout like this?  I've used PDF editors in the past.

Yes, I know I could use image insert and pull them in from my clipping fodler....pain the but waste of  time.

Select the Edit Text & Images tool before pasting, and it will be inserted as an image, instead of a stamp.
