Hi,

I do following steps:

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 to build a form by importing an excel-table.

Afterwards I convert it into a PDF/A.

Then I fill out the form

Afterwards  I try again  to convert it into a PDF/A

This last step doesn’t work if the textfields are imported from excel. If I just fill out textfields that I created  with Adobe Acrobat it works fine.

Both (excel textfields and adobe acrobat textfields) have the  same properties as I can figure out.

But Preflight ends with following error message: „A required ‚Subtype‘ entry is missing àTriggerwerte 2618 0 obj and in the documentproperties/Fonts  CALS_IvisibleTTFont is listed.

I hope someone can help me.

1. I suggest you convert to PDF/A only once, when you have certainly finished. A file, as soon as you made it PDF/A should be treated as read-only. Perhaps this is stopping form import from working.

2. Please describe your steps for "textfields are imported from excel".

The "A" in "PDF/A" stands for Archive. That means that when you convert the file to this format is should not be edited at all afterwards, so if you need to have it in this format that's the very last step you should take.
