Hi,
I have a PDF document that has a series of pie charts, graphs and tables.
When the PDF file is opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (version 20.006.20034.39303) the quality of the lines and fonts are not the same as when the PDF document is opened in the Chrome or Edge browsers, Is anyone able to advise why the images are of poorer quality in Acrobat Reader than when viewed in a web browser?
When Printed the document appears of the correct quality.
Many thanks

Can you share a sample file with us?
Also, does it still look like that if you zoom in?

The image in this file is a JPEG, so not vector-based. As such, it can appear pixelated.
Try going to Edit - Preferences - Page Display and ticking Smooth Images and Smooth Line Art, and see if that helps. Maybe also tick Enhance Thin Lines.

I have modified the Rendering settings in Adobe Acrobat and there is an improvement, however it is still not comparable to when the same PDF file is viewed in a web browser, however I'm not sure it will be an appropriate recomendation to all users to update the standard settings in order to be able to view the report.
Thanks for your feedback am very much at a loss, have never experienced this issue before.
