I have a pdf document that does not seem to have any invisible items. When I use “Examine Document” nothing shows up other than the metadata. However, when I open this file using photoshop (media box setting) some mysterious text shows up in Chinese characters. Since photoshop is “seeing” this informatio, it must be in the pdf. I want to delete it in Acrobat but cannot since I cannot find it. Any help?
Acrobat 8
Photoshop CS3.

The characters are part of the images:

I'm not sure that's the right answer. If you look at the PDF with Acrobat, the portion with the characters do not show up as the part of the page. The characters are sort of on the "outside" of what is visible on the PDF as viewed by Acrobat. If they are part of the scanned image, why can't I see it from Acrobat?

The document was created by using a scanner to take a picture of the document page. Have you used the "Enhance Scan" tools to straighten the pages and then recognize the text?

OK, Thanks. The crop adjustment worked. Now, I can at least see the texts in the Acrobat. Is there an easy way of getting rid of the red text without using photoshop?

You can use the redaction tool of Acrobat Pro.
