Hello
We are saving our purchase invoices in PDF on our server.
I would like to know if possible : upon renaming the PDF file or grouping Pages together : to put the Filename (invoice number) on all pages.
Like PDF filename = FAF200001. Have "FAF200001" on all pages.

If you want the header/footer text to update when you rename the file, though, then you can't use a built-in function to add them.
The solution is to use a (read-only) text field and a script to update its value each time the file is opened.

Thank you.
does it mean that the value is stored inside pdf (inside data table) or appearing upon reading (loading mask view) ?

The value of the field is stored inside the PDF but is updated each time you open the file file.
You can do by placing the following code under Tools - JavaScript - Document JavaScripts (let's say the field you added is called FileName):
this.getField("FileName").value = this.documentFileName.replace(".pdf", "");
Edit: Fixed small mistake in the code.

Hello,
Thank you. I am not familiar on Adobe/Javascript. I tried but didn't work out.
I think I would need a developper to do this.
