I have created a form that I want my employees to fill in certain fields before they send it to the client for signature. I don't want the client to have the ability to edit any of the fields except for the signature. My employees may not have access to Acrobat Pro. They may have to use reader. Is this possible? And if so how can I make it happen?
Yes. The best way is to add an additional signature field to the file and set it to lock all other fields, except for the client signature field, and of course instruct your employees to sign it before sending the file.
This can be done via the signature field's Properties, under the Signed tab.
