PDF Forms – How to remove background colour in text fields

I can remove the colour box behind the text fields but when I send to others they reappear. Is there a way to stop that from happening?

Are you talking about highlight fields? If yes, that is setting of application not the file, they should also turn it off on their side

You can actually embed code in your file to do it automatically, but it will also affect other files opened on that machine, so it's not recommended to do it without the user's consent.
