Hello, Adobe Community!

I am trying to make a form where I have multiple items for people to select items as well as enter some data.

Regarding the data entry though, I have three [of six] where I need to have the answer break from one text box to another text box...or be linked from one to another. Might anyone happen to have any useful solutions for this question, please?

Thank you much for your support!

Hi Nikki,

As I understand, you would like to create a form where the option selected in one text box changes the option in the second text box, is that correct?

Please visit the following link which discusses this workflow:

Shivam:

No, I believe that is not what my intentions are.

Does this img help illustrate it fair enough? The first line should automatically drop down to the second line...that is what my intentions are.

Use a multi-line text field under "If yes, please ..."

Yes, I already tried that; however, it does not drop down to the [intended] second line.

Instead, the multi-line answer will remain in the "-1" box.

Yeah, but I want the field to automatically go over to the far left.

And I thought I could simply place the question's text OVER the full answer box (that would be a single answer box, multi-line as you mentioned); however, I was not able to force the answer to start tabbed over to the left. It simply remained hidden underneath the question's text.

Delete the first text field and make the second field larger and use the multi-line option.

Unfortunately, I cannot go down as I am limited by the end of the page.

Hi, Leprakawn,

I have the same question. Did you ever figure it out?
