PDFMaker never completes the process of PDF generation

I have Win10, Acrobat Pro XI and Vision 2013. When i initiate the generation of the PDF from Visio, the "Adobe PDFMaker" window pops up but that PDF generation process does never complete. I have tried everything i could find on the internet but nothing worked. Any pointers will be appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in response.      

In additon to kglad, check if an update is available for Acrobat using "Check for updates" option under "Help" menu,  You may also download updates from here:  Adobe software and product updates

Reboot the machine after installing update and try again.
