PDFMaker not working with MS Office after upgrade to Acrobat DC

I just upgraded from XI to DC.  I use the add-ins in MS Office products quite heavily. Ever since the change to DC, I cannot use the PDFMaker.  I can see "Save as Adobe PDF" as in option but every time I click on it I get this message: "The Acrobat PDFMaker Server could no be loaded. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?"

I have run the installer in repair mode numerous times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled DC multiple times including once with virtually all start-up items disabled to ensure nothing interfered with the installation.

I'm using MS Office 2013.  OS is Windows 7.

I have Office365.  Did a check for updates which should have been taken care of when I uninstalled/reinstalled Office 365 ... but it worked this time!!

Make sure you update Acrobat to the latest version available. If the issue is not resolved run a Repair Installation from the Help menu.

Still getting the endless loop of "The Acrobat PDFMaker Server could not be loaded. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?"

Hi Melissac,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Could you try troubleshooting steps given in this link: Troubleshoot Acrobat PDFMaker issues in Microsoft Office on Windows

You may also try the suggestions given in the following forum thread: PDFMaker Server could not be loaded

Also, let us know dot version of Acrobat installed on the machine? To check the version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Let us know if you need any help.
