When performing a Merge-to-PDF with a Word template pulling data from Excel, is it possible to have the results of the merge combined into a single document rather than separate PDF documents?

Yes, but if the merged files contain form fields you'll need to flatten them first.

If you're interested, I've developed a (paid-for) tool that will perform a Mail Merge and then join the file automatically for you (or not, if you prefer them to remain separate). You can find it here:
