Prevent editing of Watermark/Background or Layer

It is possible to prevent a visible Acrobat Layers, or the content of the Watermark or Background to be editable in a PDF when using Edit PDF tool?

It seems impossible.

You can do it by applying a security policy to the file, or digitally signing it. Note that it's not a fool-proof form of protection, though.

So it’s all or nothing! 🙂 I wish I could «lock» some content, and allow editing of specific layer only.
That’s what I was thinking also.
