printing hangs to fax driver Adobe Acrobat

New Here ,
May 30, 2017 May 30, 2017

We are not able to print to our fax driver from within Acrobat XI Standard nor Acrobat DC Pro. We can print to our printers but not the fax driver. it come up with the progress bar for adobe but hangs at 0% until we kill the process. We can print to the fax driver from Reader DC however we use acrobat as our default for signing and editing PDF's so we need for it to work in Acrobat. Our fax driver is Konica Minolta C287 Series Fax. We have tried uninstalling acrobat and reinstalling, we have tried the repair, we are on the newest version and windows is 100% updated. We are on Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Does anyone have a fix?

DId you try the “Print as image“ - option in the Advanced tab of the print dialogue?

Tried "Print as image" and it still will not print to fax. Just get "Not responding"

We are using Adobe Acrobat XI ver. 11.0.22.0

Can print to Fax printer just fine if we use Adobe Reader DC

You did the correct error analysis by trying to print with the reader. And you have a working work around. What is your OS? What did change to your system since the last time you printed successfully? Did you look for an updated fax driver?

The copier tech just left and he uninstalled the most recent driver and re-set to the 2015 driver and it is working now.
