Printing without saving first

Community Beginner ,
Sep 03, 2017 Sep 03, 2017

For some time now when I go to print an adobe document I've downloaded from the internet I'm asked to save the document first. I then need to call up the saved document in order to print it. Previously I could just print the document without saving it. I typically don't want to save the document and this requirement introduces an unnecessary extra step. What has happened to cause this and how can I get around it?

I think I've figured it out. For some reason the print function of Adobe had been changed and was no longer set to my printer. Once I went in and changed it back to the printer it did not ask me to save the document first. I tried just a couple of documents to confirm the solution and that small sample worked fine. Thanks again.

Please state what documents you mean and how you access them and with what OS and version.

when I Download a document from the web, I can print it directly. I think, the problem arises from som misconfiguration of your browser or other programs you use.

It is any PDF document I have opened such as a credit card statement for example. I am running Windows 10, Version 10.0.14393. Thanks for trying to help me with this.

This happens in Win10 when you delete your default printer.
