I ve got a problem using the action wizard running acrobat professional 2020. I have to convert thousands of files to the pdf/a standard to get compliant files for the new dsgvo in europe.
For this I have created an action wizard which opens the files and saves them as a pdf/a. Sometimes the action runs into an error concerning certain files. It starts with the error message like "couldn't extract the font ..." then it continues to run but the next tasks run into the problem "an acrobat action is already running" - probably the process which didn't work because of the font..
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? - I have already tried to stop using local fonts (under display-settings) and installing the newest version of acrobat.
