I currently have adobe reader installed on my Mac with macOS Catalina 10.15.6

I downloaded the Acrobat DC installer, and ran it.  I then get an error message stating, "

Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve the problem, is missing or damaged. You can try to repair to fix the issue. If the problem persists, download and install the new copy from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'."

I have clicked on "repair", restarted, I have downloaded another installer, and the link they provided goes to a 404 page...help?!

Hi Pedro_D

We are sorry for the trouble. I have check the account information with the email you are using on this community and found that you have a subscription of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

As described you are not able to install the application and getting the error 'Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve the problem, is missing or damaged. You can try to repair to fix the issue. If the problem persists, download and install the new copy from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'

Please reboot the computer once and try again and see if that makes any difference.

If it still doesn't work, please create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try installing the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please run the Acrobat Cleaner tool https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html  , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Amal
