Hello All...
I have a couple of users that when they right click on an email and choose quick print, the email prints but the adobe attachment does not. Adobe returns the following error. There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found. The o/s is Windows 10, Outlook 2016 with Adobe Acrobat DC. The print option of "print attached file" is selected under printer properties. A couple other users with the issue run Windows 7, Outlook 2010 with Adobe Acrobat DC. All other attachments print fine with quick print, it's just pdf files. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi Anthonyc,
Sorry for the delay in response.
As per the issue description mentioned above, the pdf attachment doesn't print when using quick print option in Outlook, is that correct?
Could you please try disabling protected view and see if that resolves the issue:
Launch Acrobat>click Edit>Preferences>under Security(Enhanced)
Select Off under Protected View>click OK and try again.
Please note: Disabling protected view is for troubleshooting purpose only, please enable the option when troubleshooting is complete.
Also, let us know the version of Acrobat you are using: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
Are the users successfully able to quick print the attachment by right-clicking on the pdf attachment (not an email) and selecting Quick Print in Outlook?
Awaiting your response.
Shivam

I'm having this same issue. Setting "Protected View" to off does not help.

I'm having a similar issue. Running Windows 10 (but I had exactly the same issue with 7) and outlook with the latest version of DC, when using "quick" print. If I try to print off more than one email attachment (.pdf) I constantly get error messages saying the file cannot be found. If I sit and wait for Adobe to fully open and close i.e. very slow print, it's OK.
Why does is stumble along so badly nowadays, it never used to have this problem. You could "Quick print" a whole bunch of mails and just wait for the printer to catch up..now Adobe "can't find file" that hasn't been moved..at least not by me.
I'm sure there's some excuse but something that works properly would be more useful to me. It is such a waste of time having to sit and wait for 30+ individual email attachments to print rather than just getting on with it. Something that takes twice the time it used a few years ago, to perform the same function, is NOT what I would call an improvement...
Nostalgia, may not be what it used to be but then again, neither is Adobe...
