Redaction not working in EDGE

I am using Acrobat DC (pro version) to redact information on documents. It looks like everything works, and things are redacted when I open it again. But when I send it to one of my colleagues, it's not redacted for them. You could see how this is an issue for legal or something similar. There's a reason for redaction.

 

They are opening the PDF in the EDGE browser. That's the only difference I can see. I've tried it in Chrome and Firefox and it's still redacted on those. But not on Edge. Am I missing something major? I feel like if this is an actual issue, there would be a lot more chatter about it.

That should not be the case. Can you share a sample file with us?

It sound like you marked up the PDF file for redaction which leaves annotations in the file, but didn't complete the job by finalizing the redaction which would have totally removed the original content.
