Replace PDF while keeping form fields messes up orientation of all fields

As per the title. I have created form fields for a PDF (that was originally a scanned document) and have now received a new scan for the same PDF with some minor changes. I used the replace tool the change the PDF but after doing so all my forms are rotated 90 degrees and I don't see a way to undo this.

Also tried inserting the new PDF and duplicating all forms to the second page but this has the same effect, all forms on the second page are now rotated.

My guess is there is a setting somewhere in the file header concerning orientation that was set by the scanner that is not set correctly but I have no idea how to fix this.

Anybody?

Your guess is correct, although it's not in the header but in the properties of each page of the file.

Changing it is not easy, though. Basically you will have to re-create the file from scratch. This can be done by exporting all the pages as images and then creating a new PDF file from them, for example.

Thank you, that's what I was afraid of...

Just had another idea, I will print the PDF and scan it myself. Quality loss is acceptable as the original originates from a scan anyway. If I'm lucky it will be OK after that. If the error is with the first version than no luck and I'll redo all...
