Running Adobe Reader causes a DC update option every time. Option not available to me

I have a license for Adobe Acrobat Pro. You (not me) restrict usage to one computer. 

My other computers have Adobe Reader. 

When I start Adobe Reader, it stalls for 2 minutes, and says I have a license for Pro. 

I know that but you do not let me use it on the second computer. 

How do I permanently stop this (dreadfully time consuming) message from coming up. I cannot use it. So I want it gone.
