Using Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, Version 2020.012.20041

When I try to reduce the file size by using File - Save as Other - Reduced Size PDF, the resulting file size is larger than what I started with.  Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Sondre

The file that you shared is above 5MB.

Is that the original file size before you reduced or is that the resulting copy after you reduce the file?

Is this a copy for us to compare how reducing this file on our will match a different file size?

Ultimately, whether in fact either the reduced size PDF or Save as Optimized PDF functions actually reduce your PDF file's size or in some cases increase same is dependent upon the nature of the file's content itself. File size reduction is not guaranteed. (Always keep a copy of the file prior to invoking such a function!)
