Scanning Multiple Pages Not Working

From the organize tab, when I try to add a scan with multiple pages it seems to always get stuck on "Optimizing Images". The first scan page pops up but none of the other pages after that do.

Using Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 7

Hi All,

Thanks for your time and patience and for your cooperation on this.

As correctly mentioned by Gaurav, the fix is available with the latest update of Acrobat version 20.009.20065, please install the latest update from the help menu of the application>select check for updates, reboot application and try scanning.

For detailed information about the latest update, please see the Release notes.

Please let us know if you experience any issues.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

I have Adobe Acrobat 2017 and I have the same probem with scanning more than one page.  I have chatted online with Adobe support but they do not seem to be aware that this is a BUG that needs an Adobe fix.   From the previous posts in this conversation, it apprears that the bug is fixed by Optional Update 20.009.20065 but this is only for Acrobat DC 2020.

What about Acrobat 2017?

The update will not download.  I have rebooted the computer but it still will not download.

Hi EricZ24637 ,

If you are using Windows machine, launch Acrobat>Help>Check for updates.
This update is now available for all Acrobat Pro DC users. Let us know how it works for you.

Hi Tariq,

I've been struggling with this issue for days. My IT dept can't figure it out either. I've updated and completed the troubleshooting in this string and I can only scan one page. The other pages run through my scanner but they aren't scanned. My HP app can scan multiple pages, so I'm certain it's not a scanner issue. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC. My prev version of XI worked fine. Thanks!

Hi,

This issue stands fixed now.

Please check for the updates.

This should work fine now with this release of Acrobat.

Thanks for the patience.

Please don't reply back that the "issue stands fixed now" -- ITS NOT FIXED.

I'm on current version of Windows 10, I'm on the current version of DC. I've tried everything in these threads and it still doesn't work. Best outcome is that i get 2 pages and the second is completely black with colored vertical lines

Same here. Tried the fix now I get 2 pages before I get stuck. Adobe needs to fix this ASAP! As big as the company is I would think it wouldn't take long to get a patch.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  If you're using the same thing, they sent this to me:

[Admin: Since the fix is already pushed live, deleted the link to avoid confusion.]

The instructions were to close Adobe, download, then run the patch, then test again.  It worked for me.

This just started yesterday, also. It's worked fine for months prior.

Hi,

it came with the last patch. There a multiple post regarding this topic. Roll back to a previous version will be a possible workaround. For me it worked.
