We are planning develop an ediatble PDF Form and send data to Post API from the Form on button click. Here is complete workflow planned

Step 1: Check whether internet connection available or not; If not available, should say " Please Check Internet Connection "

Step 2: If Internet connection available, hit the POST API with Data filled in form and show Loading button

Step 3: If successfully sends Data to API show "Successful", If Fails, should say "Failed"

Is this can be achieved ?

Please recommend if any changes to workflow to complete task

Best Regards,

Hi,

I would start by investigating what Acrobat button can do when you select to submit from it, as this may solve all the problems in one go.

This can be seen by openeing a file  ( or creating a new one) then adding a button to a page ( "Edit prepare form" tool) the double click the button to open the properties and select  "Actions" tab. Then select "Mouse Up" as trigger and "Submit" as Action.  This will show a dialog with the built in options.
