Several times in the last couple of months I have sent an email with an Adobe attachment to a group of recipients. One of the recipients receives it as a winmail.dat file. I have verified that my messages are HTML, not Rich text. What is causing this to happen? Is there something that the recipient needs to fix on their end?

Winmail.dat is nothing to do with PDFs. It may be that something else is stripping out the PDF. What is your email client, and theirs?
