User had a trial version with Adobe ID for Acrobat pro 2017. We purchased a licensed for her, not the Adobe ID one. After the trial expired, I uninstalled Acrobat, installed it again (during installation, I put the serial key, it took it with no issues). However, when I launch the software, it still says I have expired trial. The user is signed out of Acrobat.
I tried cleaning the registry, multiple uninstalls, nothing helped. Please help.
use the uninstaller to uninstall all acrobat and reader versions.
clean per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
rename the Adobe PCD folder and SLStore folders (locations: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/configuration-error.html)
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the version with the purchased license and activate with your serial number.
