Serial number invalid

Hi, following a PC change, I had to reinstalll everything from scratch. When I want to install Adobe Acrobat XI, I receive a message that my "serial number is invalid". What can I do?

PLease contact your local technical support, the servers that confirm older serial numbers are slowly turned off, forcing you to ugrade to the latest version. Your local Adobe team might have a solution.

That's not true. Activating Acrobat XI should still be possible, and this error message is not related to activation, anyway.
