Hi All,

Can someone suggest a better way to set up a PDF file for editing? Currently I have this file that has a text field for the underline field, then within that, another text field to exit the values. Quite frequently, we cant select the smaller text box to edit the values and are editing the one with the underscores.

Hi Bernd,

Is there a way without using fields?

You can use comment text fields. Form text fields are the better solution.

Are those fields or are you editing the static text of the file?

Those are static. The users dont want to set up fields and just want to simply change numbers as they go. Only problem now is they're having a hard time selecting the values and selecting text box with the underlines.

PDF files were not meant to be edited in this way. If you want to be able to easily change values in them you need to use fields.
