Hello,

We have a group of employees that have to verify digital signatures.  What we would like to do is that once one of our employees verify/trust a digital signature, others can share the trust as well.

I read this link:

And it says to:

But the link doesn't really take you to a document, but rather the Support link.  Searching the support link takes you back to the page above, and round and round we go. 🙂

Hope someone has gotten this share set up successfully.

Thanks,

Keat

Hello Keat!!

If you are adding a digital signature to trusting certificate list then that signature would remain trusted in that particular machine but the instance you open the file signed using that Digital signature in some other machine, it would show the signature status as unknown because the Digital signature is not in trusted list.

Adobe maintains a AATL (Adobe approved trust list) in which there are several trusted authorities which provide End entity certifcates to sign and when you sign with these end entity certificates, they will be valid because they come from a source which is approved by Adobe and it is in Adobe approved Trust list.

You can check the list of aapproved members here :- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/approved-trust-list1.html

I hope it helps with your problem.

Thanks,

Prashant.
