Help - have gone through a name change, and this has all been updated on my Adobe Account. But when I comment on a pdf in Acrobat my old name still shows up. How the hell do I update that? Thank you for any leads or advice.

Thank you - have tried that, and restarted. Updated apple ID and Adobe ID. But still no joy.

This setting has nothing to do with your Adobe ID. It's the name of the account on your computer.

If you want to use something else untick that box, edit one of the comments manually and then right-click it and select the "Make Current Properties Default" option. Any new comment you add after that would have the author name you used for that one.

Thank you. I did  find that box earlier - and checked make current properties default, but all subsequent comments reverted back to the old name. So to get through today - I edited each one manually. Now to tackle changing name on computer...yeesh.

You can use this free tool I've created to change the author name in all the comments in your file in seconds: http://try67.blogspot.com/2008/11/acrobat-anonymize-comments.html

When I use the advice above and click the "Make Current Properties Default" option - everything reverts on the next coment. Is there a way to make the default stick?
