Hello all,
Currently looking for a solution to signatures for multiple pdf's for onbording purposes.
Basically we have 5 documents that are multiple pages that need to be signed by a person being onboarded. Previously these were printed copies that have been combersome for users to sign physically due to certain circumstances.
What we're trying to do is streamline the process for the intake users to make it as seemless as possible.
My thought process is that once the first document is signed and saved, the next document would then open for them to review, then the same after the 2nd is signed.
Is this possible with Acrobat? Possibly a macro? Maybe another program that could accomplish this?
Any and all feedback is appreciated.
Hi Chris
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you have 5 documents with multiple documents that are required to be signed by the person onboard.
You may try to create a PDF portfolio of these documents. A PDF Portfolio contains multiple files assembled into an integrated PDF unit. The files in a PDF Portfolio can be in a wide range of file types created in different applications. For example, a PDF Portfolio can include text documents, e-mail messages, spreadsheets

For example, a PDF Portfolio can include text documents, e-mail messages, spreadsheets, CAD drawings, and PowerPoint presentations. The original files retain their individual identities but are assembled into one PDF Portfolio file. You can open, read, edit, and format each component file independently of the other component files in the PDF Portfolio.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you!
One followup question though. Is there a way to link the fields of the separate PDF's in the portfolio?
Example: Fill out Name field in document 1, have the name copy to the Name field on the other documents.

No you cannot connect fields from one document to another.
