Starred Feature Not Working for Locally Saved Documents

When will the Starred feature work for documents that are saved on computer? This has been asked several times. 

 

Due to confidentiality, there are several documents I use everyday but I cannot upload them to the Cloud (this will allow the Starred feature to work).

 

Every time I log-out and then log-in, all my Starred files are gone since I cannot save them to the Cloud.

 

And, yes! I have the most recent version (ths has never been the issue). The Starred feature has never worked with locally saved documents. 

 

Please fix or otherwise get rid of the feature.

Installed updates and still does not work. 

 

Will no longer attempt to use this feature since it does not work for locally saved documents.
