Strange characters instead of letters in the document

Hello 

When I receive a pdf document from my work instead of normal words i see strange characters but some of words looks okay. You can see it in attachment: word "ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ" in polish is okay but where should be address of my company is something odd.

I use windows 10 64bit in polish ,checked for update for adobe, reinstalled  reader, installed pack from this site 32-bit Font Pack and Spelling Dictionary | Acrobat Reader DC for my version. 

I don't know what else to do can someone help me with my issue.

• What application was used to make the original document?
• How was the PDF made?
• We're the fonts embedded?

It looks like it might be an issue of missing fonts.

I am really sorry but I am not able to check how document was made.
Could you tell me how to check if the fonts are embedded?

I have the same problem. Get PDF in Microsoft Outlook, some are ok and some are just like yours with weird characters. Updating Acrobate DC did not help.

Mam ten sam problem. Dostaje PDF w Microsoft Outlook, niektore są ok, a niektore tak jak u Ciebie z dziwnymi znakami. Aktualizowalem Acrobate DC nie pomoglo.

The problem showed up with other documents on other computers. Some people were helped by the installation https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/detail.jsp?ftpID=6839 

Unfortunately it didn't help me 😞

Problem poajwił się z innymi dokumentami na innych komputerach. Niektórym pomogło zaisntalwoanie tej paczki

Niestety to nie pomogło w moim przypadku 😞
