I have enjoyed greatly, using Adobe over the years in reading PDF documents. It has been a real blessing and I want to thank you for all your good work. I now have a Windows 10 system 64-bit of course and I just downloaded Adobe acrobat reader on my new system. I have a terabyte SSD and a terabyte hard drive and 16 GB of RAM with 6 cores on my 9th generation Intel. I've never had any trouble with acrobat reader in the 20+ years I've used it but it now simply freezes every time I open the program and do any operation. If I open a document and click to search it, it freezes if I open a drop-down menu it freezes and I eventually have to open task manager and shut it down. I can't get anything done with it. I wanted to let you guys know because it most certainly shouldn't be happening on the system as advanced and trouble-free as this new computer but it is. Thank you for your time and I hope this helps somehow....

Hi Mntnman

we are sorry for the trouble. As described the Adobe Acrobat Reader is freezing

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader and make sure you have the latest version 20.009.20067 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

You may also try to repair the installation from the help menu > repair Installation and see if that makes any difference.

if it still doesn't work, please remove
