I created a pdf form using Acrobat Pro 2017 and posted it on our test website. The link works perfectly in IE but the electronic signature box disappears when the form is opened in any other browser. I'm using Windows 10.

The Adobe site says under System Requirements/Browser:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 using Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11, or a current version of Firefox, or Chrome
  • Microsoft Windows 8 using Internet Explorer 11 or later, or a current version of Firefox, or Chrome
  • Mac OS X v11 or later using Safari 7 or later, or a current version of Firefox, or Chrome

Not sure what the problem is.

Hi souperstaar

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to sign the PDF form on non IE browser

Do you get any error message when you try to sign the form on non IE browser?  Please try to clear the cache of the browsers and try to reset the browsers and try again and check.

Internet browsers uses their own PDF technology to render the PDF content. Please try to download the form to your comouter and try to open with Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC and try to sign and check.
