unable to update acrobat pro for windows to version 2021.001.20140

Hello,

I don't succeed to update Acrobat Pro for Windows to version 2021.001.20140.

I have an error message saying that the update is not possible because I have to close before all Acrobat pro file and close all browser.

But all is closed inside acrobat pro and my browser is closed.

I have also restarted my computer.

But same problem : acrobat updater does not want to update (same error message).

Have you a solution ?

Hi,

 

Thanks for highlighting it.

The reason for seeing such error and not being able to install the latest patch is could be Acrobat services running at the background. Which didn't close, even after rebooting the computer. 

To close such instances, we'll try the following steps:

Right click on Task-bar> Open task manager> Under Processes>Background Process>select all the Acrobat services>End task. 

Once done, Open Acrobat>help>check for update.

 

Let us know if that works.

Hi,

 

Here is the error message (in french) I have while trying to update Acrobat Pro.

If I go to task manager / background process, I don't know what Acrobat service to stop. Please tell me exactly what service to stop.

Do you intend to release a new Patch for Acrobat Pro in order to remove this problem ?
