'Unknown Error' when dropping PNGs into Acrobat Pro DC

I've recently upgraded to Illustrator 2019 and Acrobat 2019. I'm on an iMac running OS Majove 10.14.6. Usually I create PDFs by firstly exporting pages from Illustrator and then dropping the resluting PNGs into Acrobat. This then creates a multi page PDF. However since the upgrade every time I drop PNGs into Acrobat I get an error message window pop up with 'UNKNOWN ERROR' inside. I can only click 'OK' and then no pages are created. Has anyone else experienced this? I have gone through the online chat thing with Adobe but they dont seem to be able to replicate the problem! Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your reply. The IT department where I work installed the new Acrobat update - and hey presto it worked! I only wish I'd posted here first as the online chat thing through Adobe took ages and was a conplete waste of time!
