Unrecognized object name.

I have saved a document from Bluebeam software (with all the markup on it) as a pdf, but am unable to open the document in Acrobat Pro. It keeps giving me this error: Unrecognized object name. I keep clicking on the OK but the pop-up screen will not go away and I have to go to Task Manager in order to close the program. I am able to open this document in Bluebeam just fine.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you try to open. Please try to open a different PDF file and check. If its a file specific issue please upload the file to the document cloud (https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/) generate the link and share the link with us for testing.

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat / Reader DC you are using? To check the version of the application please use the link (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html).

Make sure you have the latest version 20.006.20034 installed Go to Help > Check for Updates.
