Hi.
I need to create an Access 2016 application in wich to load a pdf file, attach an XML file to it, e-sign the PDF and save the result as PDF A-3 file.
I used a reference to Acrobat.tlb and Acrodistx.tlb (taken from SDK XI) in my project but it give me an error "'429': ActiveX component can't create object" when I try to open a pdf file.
The service ActiveX Installer is running in Win 7
In the PC is there installed only Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
Do I need some other component?
Do I need some license? How can I redistribute my Access application?
Thank you.

You can't use Acrobat Reader for this.
It requires an installation of Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro.

The Acrobat SDK does not give you tools. It only documents what is in Acrobat. Think of the Acrobat SDK as a marketing tool for Acrobat.
" How can I redistribute my Access application?"
Any way you like, but you MUST NOT include any Adobe code. Make it clear to your end users that they need to purchase or subscribe to Acrobat in order to use your app.
