Viewing Header and Footer in a pdf document

I have word documents that I have converted and combined into one pdf document.  When I add page numbers I lose the header (that was created in Word) on each page.  Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?  Thanks in Advance.

There are a couple of things you can do

1) Add page numbers in Word.

2) If you add page numbers by adding a header/footer to the PDF, then select the option for adding a new header/footer instead of replacing the existing

3) Remove Header/Footer artifacts from existing page content.
