Wheel of death in edit mode

help trying to edit a pdf and on every letter literally i get the mac wheel of death whizzing round!!

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you are experiencing the application freeze while editing the PDF.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to edit a different PDF file and check.

If the PDF file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and then try to edit.

Also, please confirm the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC and the Mac OS you are using. To check the version go to help > about Acrobat.

Make sure you have the latest version 20.13.20064 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once and see if that helps.
