Hello,
For the past two days, every time I open a PDF document on my computer, a window opens asking me to connect to my Adobe account. Is this a new feature or is it an error? How can I keep the Adobe connection open without having to go through the signing-in connection every time?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, every time you open a PDF document on the computer, a window opens asking to connect to Adobe account and you have to sign in everytime.
Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error message for a better understanding.
Please check your connection to Adobe server as described in the help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html
